Our Story

The Indian Spirit began in the year 2018. Our journey started with journeying into stunning pristine natural beauty, experiencing rural life in an Indian village, discovering vibrant shades of traditional Indian art forms. Through this we got a vision to seeks out these colours of exquisite art and craft in the form of various paintings, weaves, embroideries, music, dances and brings you the pleasure of recreating some of India’s heritage artwork.

Our Mission

Indian handicrafts and traditional crafts showcase the rich heritage and authentic culture of our nation. With beautiful designs, the artisans carry a legacy of their land, myth, culture and carve their art into forms that can be pass to generations. So our mission is to bring India & Indians close to their culture through handicrafts. To generate livelihood to the artisans who were declined since industrialization is also part of our mission.

Our Range

The Indian Spirit has curated a wide range of handicrafts for you. May it be Indian traditional board games like pachisi and Bagh Bakri, Aesthetic bell metal (Kansa) Utensils, Fascinating Lambani embroidery products and Rare Kala Cotton products. We also offer Membership programme, Corporate Gifting and Personal Gifting, going to destinations which need much attention and appreciation is also one of the services we offer.

Traditional Embroideries Of India

Lambani is an embroidery style with an amalgamation of mirror work, cross-stitching and quilting stitches with “Kangura” patchwork edges, made on loosely woven handloom base cloth. It is done by a semi-nomadic group known as lambanis or banjaras, mostly located in southern and middle India. Banjara women are mostly in domestic chores. They make the most of their spare time by producing these beautiful Banjara goods.
